  1. How long have you been with Compass Marketing?

Just over two years.

  1. What’s comes to mind when you think of our company?

We combine a great team of highly experienced professionals with young, imaginative minds.

  1. What are some Q1 2022 highlights?

We secured placement on a newly developed personal care planogram for a key specialty retailer. That planogram supports the premise we’ve been sharing with brands regarding the expansion of the health and wellness category into non-traditional retailers.

  1. Anything else that stood out to you?

Unfortunately, the effect of rising costs. I saw price actions from nearly all manufacturers just to keep up with rising materials and manufacturing costs.

  1. Broadly, how would you sum up the last quarter?

Really strong performance out of the gate. There was no quiet time as we came out of the holidays. Customers were eager to get started with their plans and to start ordering new items into their assortments.

  1. What can our clients expect next quarter?

They can expect us to push them to improve service levels and expand allocations into new segments that want to try their products. Our brands can also expect us to continue to advise them on new opportunities in the market. We’re constantly looking into new initiatives and examining the ROI to ensure every single investment we advise our brands on makes sense.

  1. What are you most excited about next quarter?

I’m most excited to see the continued growth we can deliver for our brands as we continue to experiment and test new opportunities. I’m also hoping to see product supplies improve across the board.
