“Literacy is so important.” It’s a message of relevance to many people, not least of which are growing kids with most of their education still ahead of them. An education that emphasizes the value of literacy in turn leads to promising professional futures.

Compass graphic designer Keeley Smith made a video for United Way of Central Maryland as part of an effort to educate 5th grade students about potential career paths. As might be expected from a visually savvy artist, Keeley went the extra mile to make the video fun, accessible, and engaging.
